Prorated Refund Policy for Interrupted Subscriptions


1. Scope of Refund In the event that a purchased subscription or account access is revoked, suspended, or otherwise rendered permanently inaccessible prior to the expiration of the agreed-upon term through no fault of the user, the user is entitled to a prorated refund strictly for the remaining, unused duration of the subscription, subject to the Warranty Period Limitations detailed in Section 3.


2. Calculation of Prorated Refunds Refunds will not be issued for the total original purchase price. The refund amount is calculated using a daily prorated formula to ensure exactness:

  • (Total Purchase Price Γ· Total Days in Subscription Term) Γ— Remaining Days in Term = Refund Amount

Example Application: If a 1-year (365-day) subscription is purchased for $120.00 and access is revoked after exactly 7 months (212 days), the remaining 5 months (153 days) will be refunded. The daily rate is $0.328 ($120 / 365). The refund issued will be $50.18 ($0.328 Γ— 153 days).


3. Warranty Period Limitation If a specific "Warranty Period" is explicitly stated in the product description at the time of purchase, the user's entitlement to any refund under this policy is strictly limited to that timeframe. If a subscription or account access is revoked, suspended, or rendered inaccessible after the expiration of the stated Warranty Period, this refund policy shall immediately become null and void. In such cases, no refund of any amount will be issued, regardless of the time remaining on the original subscription term.


4. Exclusions and Forfeiture This prorated refund policy is immediately void, and no refund of any amount will be issued, if the account revocation is a direct result of the user's actions, including but not limited to:

  • Violating the underlying Terms of Service or End User License Agreement (EULA) of the original service provider (e.g., Microsoft).
  • Attempting to change account credentials, recovery emails, or core security information.
  • Engaging in unauthorized sharing, reselling, or public distribution of the account access.


5. Processing of Funds All eligible prorated refunds will be calculated based on the exact date the user notifies support of the revocation. Approved refunds will be issued back to the original payment method within [Insert Number, e.g., 5-7] business days.
